Nobody gets in unverified
A one-time code to a real company email is the only entry route. Free consumer mailboxes are rejected. One email can hold exactly one account, enforced by a one-way fingerprint.
Safety & privacy charter
Verification is the floor, not the ceiling. Every control on this page is live in the app today. Where something is not yet shipped, we say so explicitly rather than implying it.

Work emails are encrypted at rest. Passwords are hashed with bcrypt. Anonymous chat bodies are never written to the database at all.
Four photo-visibility levels, employer hiding, incognito swiping, symmetric colleague exclusion and full Keep-Away mode. Nine controls, each independent.
The controls
Q-Chat message bodies never touch our database. Sessions start anonymous, revealing is mutual and optional, and when either person ends the chat the log is destroyed for both of you. There is no archive to leak, subpoena or accidentally expose.
You become visible only to people you have already liked. Critical if you do not want your reporting line, your skip-level or your client discovering you exist on the app.
Keep your verified badge while removing your employer name from your public profile. You stay provably employed without being identifiable by company.
Turn this on and colleagues never appear in your deck — and, crucially, you never appear in theirs. It is symmetric by design, so you cannot be seen by someone you have chosen not to see.
Show your picture to everyone, to buddies only, to matches only, or to nobody. Independent of everything else, changeable at any moment, and enforced on the server rather than in the app.
Reduces your entire profile to a display name and mascot for anyone not already connected to you. No headline, no photo, no employer, no location.
Blocking removes them from every deck, feed, search and suggestion — both directions, immediately. Existing buddy edges and pending requests are torn down at the same time, so a block is not something they can undo by re-requesting.
Only verified members can file a report, which makes coordinated false reporting impractical. Reports carry a reason and optional notes, and can be filed as report-and-block or as a silent hide. Three upheld reports auto-suspends the account.
Session metadata — who opened a chat, when, from which IP — is retained as Indian CERT-In directions require. Message content is explicitly not part of that record.
Meeting in person
A short list that genuinely reduces risk.
A café at 5pm beats a drive at 11pm. Somewhere with staff, other people and an easy exit.
Name, venue, time, and when you expect to be home. Share your live location with them for the duration.
Both ways. Never let someone you have just met choose how or when you get home.
No loans, no investments, no emergencies, no crypto. A genuine person will not ask. Report anyone who does.
Order it yourself, keep it with you, and leave it if you lose sight of it. No apology needed.
You owe nobody an explanation, a full drink or a polite goodbye. Block, then report from the app.
In an emergency in India, call 112. For women's helpline, call 1091. Report the member to us afterwards at crew@qbcle.space — safety reports are prioritised above everything else.
